Autoren*innen und Animationsfilmemacher*innen entwickelten in einem gemeinsamen Prozess neun Poesiefilme. Die Werke geben einen spannenden Einblick in  zeitgenössische Lyrik und Animationsästhetik und laden ein, neue künstlerische Positionen zu entdecken. lab/p – poetry in motion ist ein neues Projekt zur Förderung von Lyrik und künstlerischem Animationsfilm in Mitteldeutschland.

lab/p – poetry in motion ist ein Projekt von OSTPOL e.V. in Kooperation mit Deutsches Literaturinstitut Leipzig (DLL), Bauhaus-Universität Weimar und Bauhaus Film-Institut mit Unterstützung von MDM Mitteldeutsche Medienförderung , Sächsische Landesmedienanstalt SLM (SLM), Thüringer Staatskanzlei , DOK Leipzig – Internationales Festival für Dokumentar- und Animationsfilm und Literaturwerkstatt Berlin / ZEBRA Poetry Film Festival.

Authors and animators developed new poetry films in a collective process. The works provide a fascinating look into contemporary poetry and animation aesthetics, and invite audiences to discover new artistic positions. lab/p – poetry in motion is a new project for the promotion of poetry and artistic animation films in Central Germany. In March 2014, a jury selected the participants as part of a competition. Authors and filmmakers will be in attendance at the premiere.
